Which inkjet printer to “write” on postcards?
Looking for a low cost inkjet printer, that can print on postcards.
So what i want to do is buy a picture postcard in the shop and use the printer to write a text on the side where you are supposed to write your text and the receivers adress.
i do not want to print the picture side, as most postcard printers probably want you to do. any ideas?
If you are wanting to print on postcards, your problem is going to be finding the printer. If you go with any other printer than a Epson DuraBrite ink printer, you will run into a problem with the ink running if it gets wet. Epson DuraBrite inks are a pigment ink, not dye, therefore they are waterproof on plain paper. So, this is the printer I would recommend. I have been selling printers for 5 years now and I know HP claims to have pigment inks, but they are not ALL pigment inks. It is very misleading and confusing trying to figure out which HP inks are a true pigment ink. This is why I recommend and own a Epson DuraBrite printer. You can get a basic printer for $69.99, retail.

The C120 and CX7400, you can probably find reviews on, but the other printers are just coming out in stores, so there may not be any reviews. DO your research and if you need more help or info, just let me know.
